He has been active in local government for 10 years, promoting open data and data governance practices, always with the improved quality of life for citizens in mind. He is a board member of Open Knowledge Belgium, a technology advisor at OASC, and a business liaison at the Digital Agency of the City of Ghent. He brings real experience within local government and best practices in data exchange to the programme.
