Dr Emilija Stojmenova Duh gained her doctoral degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics in Maribor. She has coordinated several national and international projects on the use of new digital technologies for innovation and the development of smart cities and communities and is author of numerous publications on efficient digital transformation. She is strongly committed to increasing the number of young people studying engineering – especially women and to reducing the digital divide in the society.
