Matthias is also a consultant for the Swedish agency for digital government. For the last ten years Matthias has been the maintainer DCAT-AP-SE, i.e. the Swedish profile of DCAT-AP. He has also supported other national adaptions as well as been involved in the community and development of DCAT-AP itself.
Matthias has a PhD in media technology with focus on Linked Data, Semantic Web, and Web Architecture. He specialised in combining Linked Data with RESTful Ajax Web Applications. Matthias is also a developer and is maintaining a range of libraries in JavaScript for working with RDF, both user interfaces like RDForms and harvesting solutions for data catalogues from various source, e.g. harvesting INSPIRE into GeoDCAT-AP.
Matthias is responsible for the harvesting infrastructure for data catalogues in Sweden and is currently participating in the development of LDES as a more capable and stable solution for this. Matthias is also currently involved in initiatives around how to foster interoperability in a more structured manner by reusing parts of information models in the form of vocabularies, terminologies and application profiles.
